Bringing Care Closer, through Pop up clinics
In January 2025, we started organizing pop-up clinics across the villages of District Bastar where our Sangwaris are active, having a local doctor visit each village on a predetermined schedule.
This initiative brings medical consultations to the doorstep, especially for those who are unable to travel to health facilities, allowing for care and referrals to happen on a timely basis.
Patients were encouraged to go to public health facilities if they need advanced care, or follow up with the same doctor through teleconsultation, thus allowing for continuity of care through a hybrid model of in-person and remote care.
The response was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the demand for accessible, community-based healthcare solutions within the community.
