Bahaar Foundation has been established with a vision to create sustainable supplemental livelihoods for 100,000 micro-entrepreneurs, particularly in rural areas. Our two areas of focus are currently healthcare and agriculture.
All our program participants undergo training and skill development, and get extensive support in terms of equipment, raw materials, mentoring, finance and market linkages. We continue to bring them new opportunities to increase their footprint, impact and income potential.
Bahaar Foundation aims to create 100,000 micro-entrepreneurs across India by creating programs where participants are able to generate layers of income over a period of time. In addition to sector specific skill development, participants are trained in soft skills, financial management, entrepreneurship, and sales, which helps in their multifaceted development.
We believe that all our programs should be sustainable. We make program participants independent by adding layers of skills that can create ongoing income streams.
